Exlusive: Anonymous tip off throws new light on "Celebration Day" unlawful activities
A source has revealed several shocking new crimes in a stunning expose, casting doubt on supposed “tame” final day
Warning, the following article may disturb some readers
Contacting the Wetlands Post via a secured messaging service, the source detailed previously unknown nefarious undertakings of some Grade 12 students.
Allegedly, a certain pictogram was spray painted on the cricket oval. What exactly was drawn doesn’t bear repeating in the respectable pages of this newspaper, but it was a body part beginning with the letter ‘p’. Figuring out this word is left as an exercise for the reader.
Such a drawing is obviously tremendously disrespectful, disappointing and inappropriate.
It is unclear how this will be or has been repaired, with reports saying the groundskeepers may have to incorporate it into the oval lines for the upcoming cricket season.
Furthermore, a dead fish was apparently placed in a boys toilet.
The risk this posed to the school sewerage system, cleaners and other toilet users can not be understated.
Both professional fishermen and toilet cleaners have expressed horror at the blatant disregard for marine life and the intricacies of bathroom plumbing.
“You might be able to get the fish out, but the scales, the grime, and the smell…” the cleaner shuddered, trailing off. “That’s never going away.”
The Wetlands Post unequivocally condemns these crimes and is wishing for a swift recovery for all those harmed, including the fish.
Hopefully, the perpetrators will soon be brought to justice and punished for the destruction they have wrought.
The Australian Marine Conservation Society was unable to comment, having entered into a week of mourning.
