Disapproval as Shrek ruled out for CHAC 2025 Musical
In a shocking announcement that has left students scratching their heads, CHAC has released that the 2025 musical will be School of Rock
The decision comes as a major blow to those who had been eagerly anticipating a production of Shrek. One particularly devastated student had been dreaming of playing the iconic ogre, but his hopes have now been dashed.
“I wanted to play Shrek since I was born,” the student, who wishes to remain anonymous, wailed in an exclusive interview. “Now I’m gonna be stuck playing some guy in a band.”
CHAC’s previous two musicals, The Addams Family and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory were critically acclaimed and wildly popular. Many students had hoped that the school would continue this trend with a production of Shrek.
While some students may be excited about the prospect of seeing a rock-themed musical, most were simply baffled by the decision.
“We just want Shrek.” one student lamented.
